While the best way to implement Tabbed Plaintext would probably be a decent Tabbed Plaintext editor application, I considered it too hard to do as I don't have the coding skills for things like that.Instead of doing so, I try to implement a reference ttxt plug-in for the Vim editor which is almost platform-independent and has quite a wide audience. Anyway, it could take some more time until everything is ready, so if you want to implement the Tabbed Plaintext format in any other text editor or even in a separate application, please contact me any time. :-)
