Vimer [1] is a convenience wrapper script to open files in an existing
instance of GVim.

Open text files with Vim

It is possible to open all text files with (G)Vim automatically. Use the batch files from [2] for an easy way to achieve that.

Notepad replacement
------------------------

To replace "notepad.exe" by GVim in Windows XP or higher, do this:

Install Notepad Replacer from [3] and choose "gvim.exe" or Vimer as your
Notepad replacement.
